"Thag you very buch"
Sep. 26th, 2024 05:51 pmI tested positive for COVID. That would be no fun on its own, but with Helene barreling down on us and my sector of the power grid having all these tree-lined streets, I'll be surprised if we don't lose power (we almost always do with big storms),and COVID tmeans I won't be able to go out and work from the library or a Starbucks. Not that I should be working anyway. But I don't feel so sick I'd call out on work if the power stays on, though sick enough I definitely took it easy today.
Video of the rain from my balcony. Fingers crossed this works.
The important thing is the Paxlovid got here before the storm, so hopefully I can stave this off a bit.
It's actually kind of quiet and peaceful, just very very wet right now. Stay dry, Shirelings.
