Bilbo survived three short power outages and a day and change of window-rattling rain and wind, and she's *still* camped out in the crook of my elbow and purring like a champ.

We're definitely on the other side of weather nastiness. They're warning for areal floods until later tonihgt, but in terms of life disruptions it could have been worse. The fan & light in my bedroom isn't working and I need to get the building out to fix it tomorrow. Probably just a flipped breaker but I'm not 100% sure so I'd rather leave it to maintenance. It doesn't impact my life in any major way, it's just odd not to have the sound in the background. Worse was running on little sleep after being woken up a few times by weather and power outage alerts.

Fingers crossed all of you had as mild of weahter as we did. Looking at the news, it was much worse for lots of people around here!

Also, unrelated, but I got my new state ID in the mail yesterday. So I am once again certified. Glad to have that done-did.
