Hello, my friend! I'm dealing with a few medical issues, but nothing to talk about yet. In more joyful news, my pup Rena is starting to get a little more stubborn and willful, and daring to have Opinions -- a good sign that she's feeling comfortable now. I just have to make sure she remembers who's the Boss around here! What an affectionate, intelligent, frisky pup. We're having a good time together. The past nine months have flown by.
I'm very sorry to hear about the health issues, but glad to hear the new pup is settling in.
Did I even share that I'd adopted a new cat? He's been here for maybe six weeks and is definitely into This is My Space Now stage, which involves definite mischief and even more definite insistence on cuddles. It's good to see them settle in, though it does require more work managing their shenanigans. It's probably what we want, even if it is quite a lot of effort sometimes. Salem (my cat) loves bottle-caps, including ones that need to be used so their bottles can be put away, and generally stealing all sorts of things whether I find it convenient or not. He's actually very sweet, but still curious.
Focus on the good if you can. I hope the health issues settle themselves out or you at least get good treatment.
Hello! Hubby and I are newly retired and trying to resettle in Wisconsin in a house that is very much smaller than what we had previously so decluttering is the name of the game right now. We are back within walking distance of our son, so that has me feeling pretty joyful! In between recovering from our move and trying to figure out a new rhythm in this new season, I am trying to get back into more regular fic writing.
Oh, wow! Talk about a change of life. I hope the settling-in and the fic-writing go smoothly.
